The IPA's second single-image themed competition is One Shot: The City. Submitting your work could land you cash prizes AND the opportunity to exhibit your winning work during the 2012 installment of The Month of Photography Los Angeles.

Three simple categories - People, Street Photography and Cityscapes.

THE 9TH ANNUAL LUCIE AWARDS RECAP - A WONDERFUL EVENING FULL OF PHOTOGRAPHIC LEGENDS AND THE RISING TALENTS OF PHOTOGRAPHY.

Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center provided the wonderful backdrop for the 9th Annual Lucie Awards presented by The Lucie Foundation. The 2011 Lucie Honorees, the IPA competition Finalists and the Support Category Winners gathered together to celebrate their contributions and the medium of Photography itself. Host Robin Fox moved the ceremony along and entertained the audience.

2012 LUCIE FOUNDATION PROFESSIONAL AND EMERGING SCHOLARSHIP PROCESS NOW OPEN.

The Lucie Foundation is proud to announce that the 2012 Scholarship application is now open for both Professional and Emerging Photographers. We are delighted that APA has joined forces with the Lucie Foundation in supporting the Professional Scholarship Grant in the amount of $5,000.00 with a check to be presented onstage at the Lucie Awards iin October 2012.

All Professional Photographers are welcome to apply for the APA/Lucie Foundation Professional Scholarship here.

Current Lucie Foundation Student Members are welcome to apply for the 2012 Emerging Scholarship in the amount of $2500.00. Applications are due on January 31, 2012. Become a Lucie Foundation member here. If you're already a member, you can apply here.

A AND I STUDIOS IN LOS ANGELES PRINT THE 2011 INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS BEST OF SHOW CURRENTLY ON VIEW AT SPLASHLIGHT STUDIOS.

The 2011 International Photography Awards Best of Show was curated by Audrey Landreth and is currently on view at Splashlight Studios in New York. This exhibition kicked-off the official events of the 2011 Lucie Week. This year's printing partner was A and I Studios, a long-standing supporter of the Lucie Foundation's efforts. Learn about them, and the process of printing the show by watching the video below.
